A much greater percentage of "traditional value" guys are pedophiles, embezzlers, adulterers, and cheats than atheists or liberals. The reason is twofold. (1) the scum resort of the cover of piety and value in order to cover their true self. (2) Given the social stigma against atheists, hedonists, etc, it takes a special person to openly admit to those values; one who truly despises pretenses. Such people are less likely to resort of covert ills.
