Jeff,

My first indication of John Q Public y2k recognition came from a friend of mine at lunch today. When I mentioned some of the y2k stocks I have in my portfolio, he actually had seen some mention of y2k in the media. Was clueless about imbedded systems, but I ran him through it since I was buying lunch and had a captive audience. :=)

I still do not think public awareness is yet ready to warrent interest in y2k stocks. However the media attention will gradually bring awareness to the surface. Retail may well prove to be the driving force of the y2k market once psychological critical mass is attained.

Best Regards,

Gerry
