I understand why all the markets are showing more bullishness than not. I'm certainly not fighting it.

At the same time, what you point out about the lack of any type of a significant pull back is a bit troublesome, at least to me. We've seen plenty of slightly down and lots of sideways grinding but, as one who's almost always in the long term bull camp, I still believe it would be much healthier for the markets to have larger pullbacks. Another way of saying this is that I lean towards optimism, as even bear markets will resolve and eventually turn.

I'm not sure NK shooting off another missile is going to cause this market to get jittery. I'm much more concerned about what the US does and what the President says he wants to do, ie. military options vs. NK.

The underlying economy is solid, the chances for continued growth and improving earnings are also relatively solid.

War may be the one thing that would derail, at least in the short run, this solid bullish market.

I can contemplate -- but don't want to-- what a nuclear event would do.... We certainly have enough to keep our collective hands full with natural disasters and recovery efforts. A man made disaster of epic proportions is truly the last thing this world needs...imo. I can't help but wonder about the bluster vs. the substance coming from the President and whether or not the people in power around him are able to warn of the potential pitfalls of his inflammatory rhetoric.
