PS:

After the merger is approved, there should be no profit left in an
arbitrage position and such positions should be liquidated quickly, as money tied up in such an arbitrage is dead money. However, since
the exchange of shares is not immediate, we should see short positions
being covered by actual arris stock purchases along with a big decline in arris' short position, imo.
