People make the news. If the news is fake, it reveals a side of who they are: fake or inauthentic. People become fake when they don't remain true to themselves. When they try to become something other than who they are, they become fake. But that is unavoidable and inevitable since the other or the "they" is inside each one of us.

It is healthy to venture outside oneself. But one must distinguish between the other and oneself and not lose oneself in the other. That is when one becomes fake.
