Let's look at the way it really is.

We have two grocery stores in town. One says everything is free (no tax increases) and we get free money every time we go into the store (a tax cut).

There's another store that makes us pay for the things we buy and we don't get free money when we shop there.

We both shop at the free store.

Now, we add one more variable. Debt.

We learn that the free store will send the bill for what we got free and for all the free checks to our children when they turn 18. The bill is massive and will consume everything they will ever make. They won't be able to buy anything for themselves because everything they make will go to paying for the things we got free.

No decent person would shop at that store. That store is the republican party.

When you say spending cuts will fix the problem you created you forget that cuts won't undo the debt your party made when it went to war and gave away money we didn't have.

The cuts you seek were not made (they promised balanced budgets) and now that you know they lied to you and you were too dumb to know they were lying you want to blame "spending."

One lie leads to another and then another and then another....all because you were too dumb to know they were lying to you.
