Valium works on the same receptors as alcohol, it is much like a long acting shot of vodka.It causes aggression occurrence is certainly less than 5% of the people who take it. Those who get aggressive on alcohol likely get aggressive on valium. In my opinion it is malpractice to prescribe it to an alcoholic or drug addict on other than a withdraw basis. He was likely a narcissist and sociopath going out with a bang. Appears to have been in full control
