The problem with the Left in this country is that it has been primarily composed of middle income/upper middle income/ millionaires. These are not the kind of people who are going to put their lives on the battlefield. since most of them are living quite well. To get real change, you need people who are truly oppressed to organize and fight.

Lower middle income and poor in this country are not enlightened about what is going on. They identify with the top 1% and aspire to become one of them.

I liked Bill Clinton too for a while when he was president and then a Yugoslovian woman screamed at me and called him a killer who destroyed her country. It got me thinking.....
