Can we really crash again as long as rates remain so low and yield curve remains steep? I ASSUME Trump wants more animal spirits in mortgage market driving economic activity to new construction plus middle and working class never recovered from 2008 thus nice multiplier to real economy for a few more years... Read US treasury pays interest on average just 1.25% on $20T debt. Imagine if rates rolled over to 5% we would triple the annual debt to $1.5T in normal times.
