I agree. There was a great quote in the interview with Lucent CEO about how quickly the convergence of voice & data and telco etc. was coming. The Nortels and Lucents are now competing with the Ciscos and Ascends for that space just as Telcos & LD cos. are moving together. The market is exploding.
