Congressional hearings re: market manipulation? Don't make me laugh; my lips are chapped. Might as well wait for hearings on corruption in both political parties -- you know, taking money and then bestowing favors -- I think that's still called corruption. Think about it. Almost everyone wants the stock party to keep on going. MF holders feel richer by the day. When everyone is happy, they vote for the politicians in office. So the pols, the fed, the brokers, the media all push to keep the bubble expanding. They've managed to keep this turkey flying despite the fantastic overvaluation by historic standards. Mary Farrell on CNBC a day or so ago, says that stocks "are still attractive." Yeah. BWDIK? I've been saying the same thing lo these many months/years and lo these numerous expired puts. Jack
