To All,
I haven't finished reading the entire release yet, but a few things about the payments caught my interest;
1) Englehard West -- shipment of 50 oz in mid-October, neted $3,807.63 or $76.1526/oz of semi-refined material. Not great, but it was only 'semi-refined' and we don't know the resulting refined ounces of material. Maybe someone on thread has a good guess and to the end result percentage???
2) Auric -- date, type and size of shipment unknown, _but_ Auric and Englehard West were both able to recover the same materials from their shipments. Auric payment was 'partial' and was only $151.87 less than Englehard West's (Rhodium not yet sold?). _Could_ this indicate that both refiners were able to extract approx the same percentages from their shipments? If so, I think that is important, but again there is missing info.
3) Handy & Harmon -- date, type and size of shipment unknown, but _they_ only recovered _Silver_ and payed $7,100.00 for it. That's a fair number of ounces of silver (1,420 @ $5.00/oz and I'm sure the net/oz would be less than that). Anyone know if the semi-refining process seperates the Silver from the Gold/PGM's?
4) Englehard, shipment of 50 oz of semi-refined amterial mid-August. Am I wrong in thinking that Englehard and Englehard West are two different refiners? If not, what ever happened to this shipment?
Still a lot of questions waiting for answers, but at least we have gotten a few answers and hopefully we will get some more answers soon.
