former CIA director: Russia didn't meddle in US elections rawstory.com He seems to be inadvertently absolving Russia. Without help from the Trump campaign, there is no election meddling by Russia. He stakes a lot on the social media ads which hardly anyone saw and were greatly outnumbered by the normal media buys by the campaigns. Also, a lot of it rests on insinuating that the ads were directed by the Kremlin. As with the fake ISIS plots in the US, the word linked is used over and over again without real evidence of attribution.
