and that penalty is rather steep! I have no problem with pulling money out of the IRA as I have been doing it for years and will continue to do so. I'm just trying to understand these new rules before it affects me. Just being cautious. I have had battles with the IRS in the past and I won every one of them eventually. I don't want any more. Its not fun dealing with mindless bureaucrats.
