Which version are you using? I always use the Extended Support Release (ESR) version of Firefox on my Mac. I don't care to use the frequently updated regular version because it breaks things too easily.

The ESR version only get major updates every few months, once the regular version has become stable enough to qualify for ESR status. ESR only gets security updates between major releases.

I highly recommend it.

Only problem I still have with Firefox is sometimes it'll start using a lot of CPU cycles, probably due to a runaway process in one of the tabs I keep open. Quitting and launching it again usually fixes it, but I try not to leave Firefox open and running if I'm away from my computer for long.
