It is not a matter of If, but a matter of When for US$ stop being the Dominate Reserve currency. Please pay attention for the word "Dominate".

as for when it will happen? perhaps in 20 years. perhaps much sooner. It ALL depends on whether the U.S. can look themselves in the mirror, and seriously deals with this national debt issue.

My guess? That will never happen. So not until a real crisis happens (i.e., some kind of default in U.S interest payment), the U.S. will keep doing what they are doing now, kicking the debt can down the road, LOL. This whole U.S. system is so messed up and no one can do anything until the crisis happens. And possibly, NO one can do anything even After the crisis happens.
