I am having a problem wit Bittorrentie.exe, spawned by my torrent app, blowing up my memory. I have to remember to kill the process every few hours or it causes my laptop to grind to a halt as it consumes memory by the gigabyte.

I once did a procedure involving the permissions to a folder or file that stopped it for a while, but I cannot remember the details nor find a reference to this procedure on the Internet.

Can anyone help me out?
