the discussion began when you claimed Shrub actually cared about dead American soldiers then morphed into why we intervene in other countries affairs then you came out with your parents personal feelings about immigration.
You're skipping a few steps there, like how the immigration thing was brought up.

And that was specifically because you said that I have a very "America centric" memory.

The real issue is American dominance and unbridled aggression in countries we really should have little to do with.
Fine, then let's stick to that subject.

You said we had no reason to go into Afghanistan in the first place. You even hinted that 9/11 was OUR fault because we intervened too much in the Middle East.

Your whole view is based on the notion that EVERYTHING is America's fault because of America's dominance in the world. That's a overly simplified view of foreign affairs, one which absolves every other country of any responsibility whatsoever, including those that produced Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda.
