I do not know much about this whole thing. But one thing for sure is that China needs more breakthrough in car battery technology with their OWN IP right. And they also need to seriously regulate and require by law for ALL EV manufacturers to recycle their used car batteries and to Pay for the recycle. And need to enforce these regulations with Strong Hands. The manufacturers CANNOT just sell the car and batteries, take the gov. subsidies and then forget about it The Chinese gov. cannot afford to put up more fund for all these recycle either. Without doing this, the pollution caused by those used car batteries will TOTALLY defeat the whole purpose of going green.
