Wow, you think the "Citizens United" ruling is actually pertaining to a group of citizens banding together to work on problems? Probably because that was what it was. Or at least a positive spin on what it was. A more neutral spin would be people acting in concert to advance political ideas (whether or not you think those ideas will solve problems). the 1st amendment was for individual rights Individuals have rights to act in concert and organize.
