The major problem is whether a progressive candidate is strong enough to overcome the DNC and a Party hack like Perez. Rush Limbaugh (love him or hate him, he does have a sixth sense) thinks Perez will be the scapegoat. They need a martyr to throw under the bus. I really don't understand his reasoning, but it's often better not to doubt Rush.
