The earth is warming and this time we're alive so it can cause death and destruction to us. It's wise to recall that one party refused to accept scientific facts and instead lied about science for many years. Republican voters have never shown a willingness to hold their party accountable for its lies.

Bill Mahr has a great line on science. He says something like, 'we used to study science in school, now republicans debate it on talk radio.'

Reagan, Bush, and Trump promised to balance the budget and they all failed. They called themselves fiscal conservatives so weak minded people would fall for their lies. It's the cornerstone of every republican - to fall for lies (WMDs, replacing the ACA, Kenya, death panels are more examples).

We don't debate issues anymore. We debate the latest republican lie.
