So John, an ACA-related question:

We live in a semi rural area of Oregon where there are a couple of plan choices (only). Although I am on Medicare, non working wife and student son are not. Some of the non-exchange plans look a bit more attractive to us than the exchange plans available. No subsidies for us. Question is, do the non-exchange plans have to conform to the ACA standards for essential benefits and the like? It looks like they do from the website information available, but it would really help to know for sure if they do or not. TIA.
