On one hand I want to say Obamacare was an attempt at something, on the other, in practice it is just another
government boondoggle. I don't believe it was intended to provide help to anyone on this board although I believe it has helped many poor or with pre-existing conditions.

I don't think because you make $65,000 in Pa. you should have to pay $22,000 annually for crap insurance, when someone who makes $2000 less can get a gold policy for free.

As I said, I would be the last to say the wife and I should get free insurance, but let the door open and the law of unintended consequences will walk in.

I've got morals, but I hate to be stupid. I really do have a thing for I don't get to make the laws.......

Cobra - I know a guy, who after checking out the exchanges, let their $1800 a month Cobra policy lapse for 30 days and just like they had been told, they were cut off. Hasn't paid over $300 a month on a similar policy from the exchanges since. There is a box - do you have insurance through an employer or is Cobra available? Honestly clicking no has probably saved them $50/60K over the years.

Whether one thinks it is right or wrong, he did nothing illegal. The system needs fixed, but those that could
don't want to work together too fix it. Just complain.
