Even the NRA indicated a willingness to do so. Given they're just back with tax reform bill under review last week, I wouldn't have expected it. If banning, or at least significant regulation of them comes up it will have zero trouble being enacted. Someone has to propose it and I don't know how all the scheduling works, but most of us think those devices are a bridge too far I think.
