Brown had a 9% acceptance rate. Columbia 6%. Hard to believe any applicant could get into either university with SAT scores below 1200.

My alma mater has an acceptance rate of 14%, so that's a bit more believable. But mine has the reputation for being the easiest Ivy League to get into but the hardest to graduate from. No way anyone with low SAT scores would last four years there.
