After Trumpster Luther Strange lost, the President erased his previous pro-Luther tweets. He'll very likely do the same with his pro-Gillespie tweets. He only likes winners, if his guy loses, his endorsement immediately becomes fake news. He probably has the Hopester aka the future Mrs Donald Fredovich Trump and aka the Trumpstress do this erasing of old fake news tweets that were never made for him. If he did the erasures himself it would cut into his valuable tv time. The President has to get educated in foreign and domestic issues somehow.
