I still bet tehy would pull teh plug on teh compuetrs or Fed enters teh futures contracts if teh market freefalls, and down 1000 ain't in teh cards. But I do have to admit tihngs sure look ripe for it.

Wasn't teh last time tehy shut down was wehn Kennedy was assassinated? I don't tihnk I could spell stock market at teh time, but I believe it was more of a respect/everyone was distracted and trading was teh last tihng on people's minds type of tihng. Not crash fears.
