Wow. The S&L came after Reagan, not under Carter. So you see we had two bank collapses, the S&Ls after Reagan (under Bush) and the Great Recession (under the next Bush). Reagan had nothing to do with ending the Cold War. The myth was created AFTER the fall of the USSR to justify the debt Reagan created. Btw, free elections ended the USSR. Where do you get your history lessons? From fox news?
