mike, apple is making money this q. gtw may be able to pull it out b/c people seem to be buying computers regardless of cost. for now. 98 will be different, imho. mu went up b/c mu ismanagement told everyone they believed the koreans were nearly out of inventory so pricing should stabilize. "everyone" is apparently very dumb. a recent report by some broken house said mu was one of its top 5 "value plays." i kid you not ;-)
