Reagan created almost 3x more debt than all the previous presidents in history combined. There's no defense for that level of debt during peacetime without an economic collapse. President Obama was tasked with fixing an economy that was losing almost 1 million jobs a month which had banks, housing, and auto collapse at the same time There is nothing in modern history we can compare it to. Plus, Reagan didn't have to deal with financing the Reagan and Bush debt. To give you an idea of how bad things are getting, CBO is projecting deficits of $1 trillion within two years. The era of tax cuts did that to us and you guys need to grow up, accept it and help us Democrats fix what you've done.
