I'm not sure if "deflation" will flow through to asset price deflation. Clearly prices of cars, tv sets will fall due to chaeper imports and this will lead to decreased earnings for some companies like gm.

however falling interest rates should help asset prices.

I guess we'll find out soon!

BTW the press release by BORL seems to have done the trick today.
