It won't be controlled under Trump. The American people are addicted to debt and no President or Congress will cut Health Care or Military, which are the top two line items of spending, in order to reduce our deficits enough to balance the budget. Trump is already making noises about a war with North Korea. That war will be more expensive than all wars over the last 16 years. If that doesn't work out, then I've noticed they are already encouraging a restart of animosities towards Iran. That should do the trick for us to run massive deficits for the foreseeable future.

Don't get me wrong, North Korea and Iran are two of the world's worst actors and we need to figure out how to stop NK from getting a nuke on an ICBM, but one of the top root causes of our $20 trillion in debt is our never ending wars. The other major root cause our bailouts of banks. Solve those two problems and we'll have money to spend on health care and education in this country.

But let's face it. We'll never solve those problems and we'll never slow down military spending. It will sink us.
