SS becomes a huge immediate problem around 2030. They're saying 2034 but they're going to have to come up with 500-750 billion to cover the deficit in the disability income trust before then. It is surely going to come from SS. E

Medicare and Medicaid are more pressing, as well as Obamacare subsidies (which could go any direction) are going to be pressing in the coming decade. Meanwhile, the wage base will likely decline near the end of the coming decade.

I think economic growth is the one shot we have, but the Dems will block it if they can, it looks like.
