SS doesn't count since it is billed separately. All we have to do to make it work is to stop borrow from that money to wage wars. Interest on the debt, health care, and the military are indeed to issue to address. Interest on the debt is out of our control in a way - as we are now paying for a bill for something done in the past. Borrow! ........So really that leaves two items. There seems zero interest to reign in military spending so that is the republicans legacy. Health care; this one can be fixed and is maybe our best shot at working together. Republicans can now see that Americans want some form of health care. We just need leaders but alas that seems to be getting worse.
