I agree completely. And I do like the age differential law that protects the kids. . If two 12 year olds have sex, that is not a crime in any sense of the word, imo. Bad idea, but about as normal as can be.

When I was about 14 we used to have dances, turn off the lights and listen to Elvis's love me tender and rub against each other. The girls were into it as much as the guys. Then in high school when I was 16 we would go in the hills and make out all night, once again the girls like it as much as the boys.

Everyone did it and I think that is pretty normal stuff. But a big age difference at that age is a whole other kettle of fish.

I like Oregon's age difference idea.

So the State doesn't actual intrude into the sexual lives of a 12 and 14 year old, but it would for a 12 and 16 year old, etc.
