Saudia Arabia already nationalized oil fields once. If they can do it again with selling Aramco it would be an excellent swindle.

Sheik Yamani decades ago made the observation that the stone age didn't end for lack of stones and the oil age won't end because oil runs out.

Photovoltaics and batteries are now competitive with oil in cars and in a lot of other places. Trends are emerging. Insulation, cyberspace, and swarms of technological advances continue to supersede oil and coal. TJs cute little nuclear reactors continue to improve.

Saudi Arabia won't be escaping oil. Their culture is no good. Their deserts are bad to live in.
