I think it was an insult to the intelligence of everyday investors. To be running one of the most highly overvalued resource explorers in Australia and then to start throwing stones at the little ASX juniors with a market cap 1/50th of NVO while they hold properties in the same location as NVO has staked or paid millions to earn a percentage of is ballsy at minimum and completely misleading and purposeful at worst.

I believe there is a reason Hennigh issued that statement and it is to try and take some of the sting off of NVO now that he has dropped his Wits2.0 theory. I think he is trying to save face for himself and NVO by now saying basically that investors should not get ahead of themselves but NVO didnt mind when investors bid its shares up 1000%. In fact NVO took full advantage and managed to raise a nice chunk of cash based on his pumping the Wits2.0 theory.

I see NVO now has backed away from that theory and have come to believe that the gold in conglomerate is from a fossilized beach placer similar to the Nome Alaska beach placers. I dont know if you remember but that was my theory as to one of two types of deposits it could be in a post I did a week or so ago. I will try and find that post. Anyway if you look at NVO's new Corporate Presentaion you will see they have completely changed the theory of how the gold got in those buried conglomerates.

That statement he made was and is face saving plain and simple.
