Sadly for me, I'm not nimble enough to be able to truly trade both sides. Since I'm not able to watch the market 24/7, I frequently miss the first few points of a move or change in ST trend. By the time I respond, frequently the "meat" of the move is over, and then reverses, trapping me. Trading it like I did today has proven to be much more profitable for me; when the signals confirm the move, I simply increase the size of my position for a few points.

Lots of ways to operate in this market.

Mevis, BTW, seems to have terrific instincts in anticipating a change in trend. I always pay attention when he posts he's taken a short
