OK so I am leery of battery tech.. But the potential of solar is inescapable.. This is a Ted talk in French about solar energy storage.. Using flywheels based on concrete. Sorry I have not found a translation but was not too motivated as I am busy work wise and I understand the French.. Even the lame steering wheel joke lol.. Steering wheel and flywheel are the same word in French.. Personally I am still a fan of supercapacitors.. But gove money does not flow to distributed systems solutions so nothing really gets gov funding.. All solutions may mwan no central grid to tax and/or proyect from terrorists.. Energy needs to follow the ideal of file torrents DISTRIBUTED!!
