Yeah, ain't it a pain when your 3.5 floppy thrashes and thrashes as it grinds the surface off the disk while you're installing new software - then kicks the disk out on a read error! And there you are - you gotta call the software company and get a new disk set sent. I just had that happen - the 3rd disk out of 10 on a new version of Canvas. Luckily they included a CDROM which I could use to transfer the installer to a Zip on my home machine (my work machine has no CDROM) . So, viola! Zip to the rescue again.

I think its really cool how smoothly the Zip works and how dead silent it is. The Jaz is a little noisy on spin-up but it also is a silent runner.
