I have no doubt that we are a savage species. Our history proves it. One would think that an informed population wouldn't allow war to start for no reason and yet even with the Internet and vastly more information than the people of Spain or China in 1937 the US allowed our government to go to war for no reason. The Senate Report I cited says 98% of the prewar intelligence about WMDs came from one man they call Curveball. Only one person in the US government talked to him and said he was an alcoholic who could not be trusted. Yet his opinions were used to justify the murder of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. "Why do they hate us?" We know why. There were no facts to support war.
