Speaking of speculation and uncertainties, I find myself humbled before all the analysts and business journalists who are able to so glibly describe what today's "market sentiment" is and "how the market feels about Asia", etc. It's hard enough for me to know how my dog is feeling today, much less something as amorphous and inanimate as The Market or The Street. Do they really think The Market is a thinking, sentient being? Or do you suppose that all those breathless commentaries are nothing more than anthropomorphic silliness?
