Paul Fiondella , I totally disagree with you Asian Flu spreading here.
-Asian tigers have a lower total economy than the Ohio.
-US trade with Asia only 10%.
-Japan today said a)it will provide cash reserves ($97 Bill)to healthy
banks(WSJ today)b)it will let Banks in deb fold(WSJ today)
-S.Korea is fixed
-Thailand is fixed(they will fold all insolvent financial institutions)(WSJ, today)
-Indonesia:will be fixed by a)Suharto leaving (army coup or new
election).Anyway, too small to count.(WSJ editorial today).
-Europe VERY BULLISH 98 ( Barrons last week).
-US economy, after being reinvigorated by a nice cool shower(Asia;NOT
the flu), will continuee to grow nicely.(Abby Cohen and myself,and humbly, unknown analyst, gg ).
