As Christianity moved across the globe it required other churches and schools to close as it tried to indoctrinate the masses. Those who opposed their forced religion were killed. A strong case can be made that Christianity crippled the human spirit for generations. The great thinkers of Greece and Rome were either killed or forced to forced to conform to a belief system that was not real. Scientists were forced to renounce facts to pander to the leaders of Churches. Galileo risked excommunication for daring to speak a truth his church called blasphemy.

Now many billions have died in the name of one god or another? Even the Christian god was put to death.

I always get a kick out of how US presidents ask god to help us murder people in other countries as if god is somehow on our side.
