Democrats politicians never claim to have god on their side but do things in government that are very godly. Republicans are godless, immoral and use government to harm people across the globe. Dems help people get health care, insurance, basic rights, have clean air and water, food, shelter etc. Churches say they believe in all these things but then vote for people who do the opposite. I knew Bill Clinton was a horribly flawed man but I also knew he was the best man to lead the country. If I waited for the perfect person to run I'd never vote for anyone. After Bush lied about WMDs and was easily reelected it was clear morality is never expected by anyone in the gop. There is a difference between being personally flawed (Clinton) and being completely corrupt (Bush, Trump, Reagan, Ryan. McConnell etc.).
