Has a republican president since Reagan given us anything near a balanced budget? They all promised and they all failed (or lied). Every republican president left office with deficits far higher than when he took the oath of office and this is their issue.

Needless to say when they say their issue is "fiscal conservatism" and they can't produce one balanced budget then the party is a national joke.
