First, no one is defending Clinton's behavior, but it was not the big deal the Republicans made it out to be to impeach him and allowed Ken Starr to spend 40 million dollars looking for dirt. That was nothing more than the dirty tricks the Republican part uses all the time to empower the plutocrats to take money way from the poor and give it to the rich!

Secondly, one can't be a social liberal and economic conservative. A socially liberal society requires high taxes and big government to provide for the people e,g, we should have universal health care, and free public education for every child beginning at 2.5 years.

We should also directly address the egregious income inequality in this country and the plutocratic oligarchy running our country.

And it is clear to see the fiscal conservatives running this country are cutting taxes on the backs of the poor and giving the money to the rich.

I am much more concerned about that than a 23 year old woman who went to Washington a zillion year with her knee pads on to snare a president!!!

I think Moore should not only step aside, he should be prosecuted. He's an animal and I stand 100% against him. If the GOP loses the majority in the Senate, then so be it. People like Moore cannot be allowed to go unpunished.

Your defense of Clinton is unconscionable. It is never ok for a person in a position of power in government or in the workplace to engage in sexual conduct with a subordinate. That is the definition of sexual harassment. Bill Clinton was guilty of that. The fact that the liberals on this thread defend this behavior in one breath and then claim to be defenders of women in the next breath is truly flabbergasting. Have you no shame?

It's time everyone take your ideological blinders off. Sexual predatory behavior should not be a political issue and should be something 100% of Americans agree on. If someone is being a sexual predator, who gives a shit what party he comes from? He or she should be held accountable, full stop. I have voted both sides of the aisle and am a social liberal and economic conservative. I find it extremely distasteful when I see people defending this kind of behavior just because you are loathe to see a black mark against your party. It's reprehensible.
