Sorry Steve, but you have that pretty much all wrong. We only settled down and left our nomadic life about 12,000 years ago. Not enough time to do much DNA evolution. We still have the brain of a nomadic animal.

We adapted to agriculture intellectually, not physically. Out animal instincts are still intact. Part of the problem is the church teaching us we are not animals and so have not explored what kind of animal we are, except being one of the great apes. We are the "Naked Ape", so says our DNA.

Nothing in our DNA has equipped us for the coming "singularity". We can learn abstract thought, but are much more comfortable with concrete thought. We are still hard wired for pattern recognition, but probability is tough for us to learn. In our natural state we count one, two and many. That is it.

Our great intellectual ability was probably an accident, but to manifest it takes a life time of learning. And we deduce very little, we learn.

huh? No we aren't. We have adapted a long time ago to the life of agriculture. No to Nomadic animals! We're not animals any more than we are butterflies - okay closer to animals than butterflies, but still very specialized animals as humans.

That is NOT how it works koan - you need to go back to school. You can educate the holly hell out of someone and that DOES NOT change the DNA. The only way you change is by being selected for in the hard knocks of physical survivability.
