Baloney, virtually all cultures in the world for all of record history have been racist and misogynistic. It has been less than a 100 years that women have had equality with men and racism has become forbidden----all over the world. People had to understand those concepts. The entire world as it gets educated is ridding itself of misogyny and racism and caste systems and becoming democratic. Democracy is a concept. << >>> 20 century we had segregation and women could not vote. 19th century we had slavery. 18th century we had first fully functioning democracy. 17th century there were no democracies and women were chattel.<<< >>>All of that intellectual growth is due to education!<<< It had little to do with intellectual growth and everything to do with the aspirations of our culture.
